Cornish by name, Cornish by nature. Our pasties are Cornish through and through. We work hard and are proud to be the UK's largest pasty operator. We place the highest regard for excellence and have been recognised for this at The World Pasty Championships where we took the crown for World Champion for our traditional pasty in 2014 and again in 2015.
We wear our Cornish name with pride, basing our bakery and kitchen in West Cornwall. Each one of our pasties is 100% handmade using traditional techniques. Every pasty has been hand crimped to help seal in flavours, tastes and textures to authentic perfection.
We also place huge emphasis on provenance. It is important to us that we know the story of our ingredients, the majority of which are selectively sourced from Cornish suppliers. Our PGI status underpins the quality and geography of our products as well as the time that it has taken to ensure that the millions of pasties we sell a year are served to our customers in the best possible way.
It is our goal to protect and preserve the heritage of a meal that was originally invented for Cornish tin miners. The simple thinking behind the pasty which fuelled, nourished, satisfied and sustained tin miners one hundred years ago is the same thinking that we apply to our pasties today. It is our dedication to our brand that makes us the UK's leading pasty operation with 50+ sites. Over 2.75 million pasties a year are enjoyed inside our shops on the high street, taken away from travel hubs and enjoyed at the best sporting fixtures all year round.
Whilst our traditional pasty continues to be our best seller, we continue to innovate and regularly introduce new products to the West Cornwall Pasty Co estate.
