Middle Farm Cottage B&B

https://www.sawdays.co.uk/britain/england/somerset/middle-farm-cottage/

Village B & B in a farm cottage

This charming cottage has recently undergone a major refurbishment, including new central heating, wet room, two bathrooms and a new kitchen diner, but all disguised in a stone clad extension to maintain the charm of this old building. Dinder is a quiet picturesque village nestled in the valley of the River Sheppey, just off the A371 Wells to Shepton Mallet road. The village is almost traffic free, the highlight being the hourly bus service, so parking is easy. There are many walks available to nearby villages, or even into Wells.
We have a choice of three rooms available: the Garden Room, a super-king double on the ground floor which converts into a twin, which has its own new wet room and French door into the garden; and upstairs the Blue Room, a king double; and the Rose Room, a standard double. The Blue Room and Rose Room share a bathroom, so could suit a family.
By car Wells is 3-4 minutes away, Shepton Mallet 6 minutes, Bruton 20', Castle Cary 25', Bath 35', Bristol Airport 40', Bristol 45'. The George pub in Croscombe (3' drive) does excellent lunches and evening meals, and there are many good restaurants and bars in Wells.
Local sightseeing includes the City of Wells with its famous Cathedral, Chapter house and Vicars' Close; Wookey Hole caves; Cheddar Gorge; Glastonbury Tor; Georgian Bath; and a number of local National Trust properties. Further away are the huge and safe beaches at Brean. Outlet shopping can be had at Kilver Court in Shepton Mallet, Clarks Village in Street, and there are grander opportunities for retail therapy in Bath
