Welcome to Croscombe Primary School
Croscombe is a primary school, that takes children from 4 to 11 years of age. It is a small village school that is an integral part of the local community. Croscombe is an historical and friendly village nestling in a pleasant valley between Wells and Shepton Mallet and is easily reached from both towns and the surrounding area.
Croscombe Primary is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School, with strong links to the local church and to the Diocese of Bath and Wells. We are federated with Stoke St Michael Primary School and this federation benefits both staff and pupils.
We are a caring, nurturing and inclusive school that aims to help each child feel valued and respected. Our classes are organised in such a way that groupings are flexible, which enables every child to reach his or her academic potential.
We aim to foster strong feelings of self-worth in our children by encouraging them to achieve success in their learning by equipping them with the skills they will need, in order to lead happy and successful lives in the twenty first century. Most of all, we hope that the children at our school are happy and thoroughly enjoy their school life.
