WELLS ART CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary Meets Medieval
From Saturday 30th July to Sunday 28th August 2022., Wells Art Contemporary (WAC) provides a unique opportunity to see some of the world’s finest contemporary art set within the magnificent medieval surrounds of Wells Cathedral.
A dedicated gallery of 123 selected works of art from the WAC international open art competition will be on display in the Cathedral cloisters.
In addition, there are 29 site-specific installations studded throughout the Cathedral and its grounds. These were selected by the panel for their responses to the architectural, spatial and spiritual aspects of this unique venue.
