Queen Victoria, Priddy

http://thequeenvicpriddy.co.uk/?page_id=41

Welcome to The Queen Vic at Priddy!

The Queen Victoria Inn is your typical country pub placed near the summit of the Medip hills at almost 1,000 feet above sea level. It began it’s life as a pub in the late 1800s and contains many of it’s original features including wonderful flagstone flooring, huge fireplaces and beamed ceilings. It has as much charm and character from the outside as it does inside, built with natural stone set off with creeper cladding.
It is without doubt is the best place to refresh after a long walk in the surrounding countryside,or a hard daysallwelcome caving. Whether your local to the area or escaping city life for the afternoon you are welcome to share with us the Queen Victoria, you can even bring your dog and relax by our two log burners or large open fire.
the Queen Victoria we offer 3 real ales amd 4 ciders. With Butcombe bitter and a rotating guest going swimmingly well, we are looking to expand our offering by installing a new hand pump to offer a third. And being in Somerset we cannot fail to mention our cider offering. Being the most popular drink by miles (especially in the summer months) we have the wonderfully crisp and refreshing Ashton Press, or Ashton still. For something a little stronger you may want to try the earthy Thatchers, or for something alot stronger you may want to brave the luminescent Cheddar Valley served straight from the barrel on the bar.
When it comes to our food we pride ourselves on sourcing our products locally and cooking good quality home made food.
